The new album of Central Unit is set to be released by M.P. & Records, following their previous albums Internal Cut (2004) and I See You (2010), and tells about an ordinary day in the rush life many of us are living. Whatever day suits you best.

On Board, to start a Gear Path, that will lead undoubtedly to be Snowed Under. So, Get It Out of Your System – to start something else, or at least to have a Seesaw Daydream, and maybe to ask ourselves what’s the aim of all of that. What use.

As usual, the music is a perfect blend of electronics, melody and jazz ideas created by Central Unit: Alberto Pietropoli (sax and flutes), Enrico Giuliani (bass), Riccardo Lolli (keyboards and programming), Andrea Ventura (drums and percussions).

The album was recorded and mixed by Riccardo Lolli; mastered by Roberto Costa, composed and arranged by bass player with Lucio Dalla. Costa also remixed “What Use”, the sixth track of the album, the famous song of Tuxedomoon covered by Central Unit on the EP “Loving Machinery” (1982) – an EP that was reissued by M.P. & Records in 2004 together with their 1983 debut album “Central Unit”. The cover art on the new album comes courtesy of Giorgio Carpinteri.
