“Disco Dooro” is the Second album for the eclectic trio FEAT.ESSERELA from Bologna.

“Disco Dooro”, still an ironically two-way title, reproposes their overwhelming progressive rock high-energy centrifuge, in which classic-jazz-rock seventies references derail relentlessly, like on a rollecoaster, in crazy stop and go sequences, odd times and transversal intuitions Frank Zappa would appreciate.

Don’t be fooled by the vocal divertissement of “Lauto grill”, it is only a minute that then opens the dances for breathtaking instrumental progressions, enhanced by the interplay between Renato Minguzzi’s guitar, Francesco Ciampolini’s vintage keyboards, with piano in evidence and bass-keyboard like Manzarek, but also with hypnotic electro disgressions, and the precise drumming of Lorenzo Muggia.

There are also significant contributions by Lorenzo Musca (tenor sax), Dario Nipoti (trumpet) and Michele Tamburini (baritone sax) to color the eclectic textures and atmospheres.

An extraordinary confirmation for the Feat.Esserelà, in some people’s view one of the most brilliant revelations of the current Italian progressive rock scene.
