The creative entity MISTER SCIENCE is one of which no actual knowledge exist at this point in time. This project made itself known in 2012 with the release of the EP “Five Educational Minutes”, released on US label Silber Records as a part of an experimental series of EPs made under the condition 5 songs in 5 minutes.

Mister Science, whoever they may be, solves this task in a very elegant manner. Five constructions each about a minute long, which works out as follows: An enticing drone with minimalistic rhythm and melody effects, one set of oscillating and surging electronic textures flavored with cosmic effects and a compelling rhythm backbone, one set of a compelling rhythm spiced with distorted, futuristic noises, one minimalistic lead motif gradually distorted into increasingly futuristic sounding textures with cosmic effects on top, and at last a majestic dronelike noise that gives way to an enticing sequences rhythm with careful resonating minimalistic melodic effects applied. Enticing and compelling snippets of sound all, where the major negative aspect is that all of these ideas ideally should have been explored more thoroughly and in depth.

A five minute long EP that should appeal to those who like instrumental electronic music of the minimalistic variety, and in particular those who prefer music of that kind to have a futuristic sound.
