‘Reverberating Garden Number 7’ b/w ‘Flaming’ is the new single from Octopus Syng

Two years ago, Octopus Syng released their album ‛Reverberating Garden Number 7’. Those you you paying attention may have noticed that it didn’t feature any songs with that title. This year, Octopus Syng release a new album ‛Hollow Ghost/Rochelle Salt’ which, you’ve guessed it, features the song ‛Reverberating Garden Number 7’.

‛Reverberating Garden Number 7’ also happens to be the band’s new single. But being odd boys they’ve decided to release a different version of the song as the A side of their new waxing. Confused? Well, don’t worry because you’re probably not half as confused as Octopus Syng.

The single’s flip side is a rather splendid version of the Syd Barrett song originally recorded by Pink Floyd, ‛Flaming’.

‛Reverberating Garden Number 7’ b/w ‛Flaming’ will be released on Friday 13^th May (feeling lucky, squid?) and will be available in two editions. There’s a red vinyl 7-inch that is exclusive to the Mega Dodo Singles Club. While non-club members can purchase a black vinyl edition. Both editions are limited to 150 copies and hand numbered.
