Mega Dodo and Paper Jukebox are proud to announce the publication in February 2017 of volume two of John Blaney’s career spanning George Harrison discography. Following on from this year’s George Harrison: Soul Man Vol. 1, Vol. 2 takes the story forward from the 1980 Somewhere In England album to Brainwashed in 2001 and beyond. To conclude the story, the discography includes posthumous releases such as the 2014 boxed set George Harrison: The Apple Years.

Compiled by author and Beatles expert John Blaney, George Harrison: Soul Man Vol. 2 completes Blaney’s critical review of Harrison’s solo career. As with the previous book, George Harrison: Soul Man Vol. 2 maps Harrison’s career highs and lows and again places his songs in their historical, cultural and crucially spiritual context. It also includes significant side projects such as the Traveling Wilburys, guest appearances and his continued role as a producer for long time friend Ravi Shankar.

George Harrison: Soul Man Vol. 2 is published on 24/02/2017 as an 8-inch x 8-inch, 374 page hardback book. It is illustrated with hundreds of colour images including UK and US label variations, album sleeves, picture sleeves, trade advertisements and more.
