It’s been six long years since Scott Hull and the boys had produced a full-length album, but at long last they are back, and it’s a goody. One thing that makes this stand out from their other releases is that at long last the band have brought in a bassist, namely John Jarvis, who also plays with Scott in Agoraphobic Nosebleed (whose 2002’s album ‘Frozen Corpse Stuffed With Dope’ is permanently loaded in the car). This album is a melange of metal, noise, grind and punk, and a total refusal to conform. It is over the top mayhem, with guitars being taken within an inch of their lives while singer JR Hayes showing no sign at all of becoming mellow in his old age.

Twelve songs, 32 minutes long, it is to the point and over the top. One always knows what is going to come at the listener from a Pig Destroyer album, and yet again they have delivered with brutality. Awesome.
