NJ’s Buzziest Surf Rock Band DENTIST Release New Single, Video, Announce Their Very Own Beer!

Los Angeles, CA – When last we caught up with NJ trio Dentist, they had just released a brand new single “Don’t Let Me Catch You,” along with a hilariously twisted video that fans of the band’s dark humour found comfortingly familiar. Now the band has prepped the release of another new single that takes its emotional content a little more seriously and straight-faced. “Let Me Let Go,” is a reverb-drenched tune that kicks in with bouncy indie pop and explodes into fuzzed-out garage rock by the first chorus. The video, directed by Mat Hale of Image 8 Nineteen brings the lyrics and energy of the track to life in a surreal world of anxiety and uncertainty.

“For this single, we thought the best way to capture the emotions of the song was through the medium of animation. This allowed us to not be limited by the restrictions of the physical world around us, especially in the current state of distress.”

And if that doesn’t sound serious enough, the band have also teamed up with Point Pleasant, NJ’s Last Wave Brewery, releasing a beer to complement their next release. Let Go IPA is a double dry hopped NEIPA, dripping with notes of tropical, candied fruit with a stone fruit finish and a soft, pillowy, hazy body. The beer will be available at select bars and liquor along the Jersey Shore on release day, Thursday, May 6th.

“We are stoked to have our own signature beer! The can art uses artwork taken directly from the video for Let Me Let Go and each can will feature a QR code that links back to the video!”
