Following from the success of the ‘San Fernando Beat’ EP, Perdomo (guitar, drums, keyboards) and McKnight (bass, vocals) are back with their second set of six songs. This is yet another power pop rock out and it is almost as if time stopped in LA back in the early Seventies and nothing has happened since then. One can imagine any one of these numbers being lifted as a single and they all fit nicely on the radio. The 15 minutes allow the listener to think that all is right with the world, and we are back in the Summer of love with some nice early Seventies twists, layered dated keyboards and melodies which are all top drawer.

Power pop has a life and vitality all its own and this is bright and bouncy, never outstaying its welcome and just full of fun. It is as if Covid has never happened and takes us back to a time when the world was full of innocence and not nearly as dark as it is now.
