Double Nelson is a life-and-stage duo, the embodiment of a new breath of French strange-rock consisting of guitar/ drums/ bass and electronics, combining irreverence and musicianship, sensitivity and experimentation. The group was formed back in 1986 (!) in Nancy, France motivated by the exchange between a collective of local artists and the Berlin-New York underground scene.

Handicapped by a certain carelessness and attracted by the desire to make music without code, the avant-garde duo is evolving in its genre of unique and groovy yet Lo-fi Post-Kraut music, tinged with hypnotic arrangements, they are radically human and furiously personal. 33 years and a few hundred tours later, videos, short-films, web-series and 8 albums, Double Nelson have their ninth opus ready for release.
