Fervent Mind is a progressive, dynamic and catchy new band from the flourishing cross genre music scene in Oslo, Norway. Formed by singer and composer Live Sollid in 2014, they have since developed a sound that is both unique and original. Their music balances on a fine line between the rough and the delicate, with elements from post rock and metal as well as dream pop, trip hop and contemporary jazz.
Fervent Mind has become known for their intense and energetic live performances, and their captivating and progressive soundscape.
Tranquilize was recorded at Thor Neby Studio, produced by the band, mixed by Manuel Madsen and mastered by Sondre Christoffersen. The striking album cover was made by the internationally renowned Norwegian visual artist Anders Røkkum.
“Tranquilize” is set for a March 22 release through Norwegian label Karisma Records.
