The five fresh men from Neumatic Parlo are out this weekend with their new video and single Cardiac Insufficiency via SLAM!
The debut EP All Purpose Slicer, which will be released on March 20, 2020 via Unique Records (Suzan Köcher, Blackberries, Love Machine…), features four songs from a Summer 2019 recording. The tracks combine fast, powerful psychedelic rock with quiet, introspective moments.

The story of Neumatic Parlo begins with an Instagram story of a jam session posted in late fall 2017. In this session, today’s drummer Justin Janßen attracted the attention of Vincent Göttler, Frederick Oltersdorf and Simon Hartmann, who were already making music together at that time. The three quickly contacted him and Neumatic Parlo was born.
The fresh five-piece can look back on a nomination for “Best Newcomer” at the important German PopNRW Award 2019 alongside appearances at Open Source and New Fall Festival. Currently, the band is about to make a name beyond the borders of their home region NRW, Germany.
Neumatic Parlo is mixing together a variety of influences on All Purpose Slicer, from floating post-punk, shoegaze to psychedelic rock. The music echoes the strong lead characters of the past decades, bringing in mind a variety of influential artists all the way from Joy Division and Sonic Youth to Billy Idol stuck in his sappy place.
