This album features Premik Russell Tubbs on saxophone, flutes and electronic wind instruments with Margee Minier-Tubbs on backing and spoken word vocals, as well as some seasoned session musicians. Premik Russell Tubbs is a very well-known multi-instrumentalist indeed, having worked with Whitney Houston, Carlos Santana, Sting, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Jean-Luc and Clara Ponty, John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra (1974–1975), Ravi and Anoushka Shankar, Will Ackerman (of Windham Hill), and has shared the stage with Elton John, Billy Joel, Lady Gaga, James Taylor and more. Here he has combined with Minier-Tibbs to create an album which is a combination of soft jazz, spoken word, pop and soul in a manner which at times is enthralling and at others just confusing as there seems to be little in the way of continuity.

We get some instrumentals, singers on “Catwalk (A Stitch In Time)”, plus some spoken word pieces from both Margee and Patrick Carmichael. It is the lack of focus which makes this quite a difficult release to get inside, as on its own each song is fascinating, but here it is the collection of them together which makes it difficult to get inside. I can imagine a complete album of songs such as “Catwalk” being wonderful, or possibly a complete selection of Margee spoken word pieces with Premik leading a band in the background, or a selection of instrumentals like “The Weave”, it is just that when it is all in one place that I found it hard to settle into. Apparently, this album has been described has been described as “a sonic journey into the heart of our oneness through its complex musical exploration of the unfolding cycles of time while delving into the mystery of existence and eternal breath of life.” All I can say is that while I did enjoy the individual songs, I doubt if I will ever return to the album itself.
