Originally formed by guitarist/singer/songwriter Bill Beadle back in 1982, they were dormant between 1987 and 2012 when he created a new line-up, since when they have been quite active. This is their seventh full-length album, and they are now operating as a trio with the Bill joined by Jeff Rolland (bass) and Neil “The Devil Himself” Turnbull (drums) who have both been involved since 2013. This good honest NWOBHM which has been heavily influenced by Judas Priest. If this had been released during the period I would have said they would be at the same level as the likes of Bitches Sin or Aragorn, interesting and okay but nothing which sets them apart from either the premier or championship contenders.

That being said, if they were on as a support band or playing in a local pub then I would probably hang around to give them a listen. The music is melodic, very heavy, and has been well produced with a definite Priest/Sabbath Birmingham chugging sound. It’s just there is nothing special to lift them any further, but for those who can’t get enough of this genre then they may well be worth casting an ear to.
