Metal remains the foundation for French Mathrock/ Progressive Quintet Shelter; and it is what made this band possible.
Gathered around influences like Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan or Fear Factory, the band from Lyon, France delivers to every handbanger, but also to everyone worshipping the pure strength and madness of metal. The band recently released a live video of their song Mercure – listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuFqsCp8m08
On their most recent musical offering, 2017’s EP Spetsnaz, a trumpet and analeptic guitars propel you into a tribal dance sweating vodka. The fluorescent epileptic riffs, leaning on a sprawling rhythmic colossus, perforate you like a Kalashnikov shot. A remastered version of this EP was released by the band this month.
Track list:
1. Spetsnaz
2. Zoloft
3. Bermudes
4. Bielorusse
